As of June 2018, 240 species of birds (70.5% of the Crimean bird fauna) were registered in the reserve. The diurnal birds of prey are represented by 12 genera and 26 species (11% of the total number of bird species in the reserve), of which only 12 (46%) nest relatively regularly (including the surroundings of the reserve) (Sikorsky, 2014)
